It's a little pricey, but it's worth it. The Dell Inspiron 15 is an incredible budget laptop that we highly recommend if you need a laptop for Zoom but don't have much money to spend. The webcam and mic aren't as good as what you'll find with more expensive devices, but they're still very solid and will get the job done. The display is a little dim, but it looks good regardless, and even comes with an effective anti-reflective coating. The 7-hour battery life is solid considering the laptop's low price, and while you don't get Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, you do get Bluetooth 5.
The thin design of the laptop makes it easy to carry around, and both the keyboard and trackpad are enjoyable to use, too.

Only on Zoom, when testing my microphone, there is no recording to play back. Did all the diagnosis on the laptop with no apparent issues. Any help would be appreciated Same here.

Can you help us understand what type of computer, are you running Windows or Mac, and do you know if you are using an external microphone or the one built into your computer? I'm also curious if this has ever worked or if you are maybe just trying for the first time? I'm hoping to learn whether something has changed recently to cause your mic to stop working. I am not sure if you have updated to 5. In you Zoom client make sure you are signed in, then click on Home at the top, click on your profile picture, then Check for Updates.
